  • 2 Fresh tuna steaks 
  • 1 tbsp Olive
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Dried thymeLemon wedges, for serving
  • 1 Dried thyme
  • 1 Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Tuna: Start by patting the tuna steaks dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.  Lightly coat both sides of the tuna steaks with a drizzle of olive oil, ensuring even coverage for a crispy, golden finish.
  • Season: In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme. Rub the seasoning blend evenly over both sides of the tuna steaks.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cook the Tuna: Place the seasoned tuna steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. If you prefer your tuna well-done, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Serve: Once cooked, remove the tuna steaks from the air fryer. Serve with fresh lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce or side salad.
