  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Instructions

Step 1: Sear the Sausages

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides.
Once cooked, remove the sausages from the skillet and set them aside. Optionally, slice them diagonally for a more rustic presentation.

Step 2: Sauté the Aromatics

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced onion.
Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.

Step 3: Add the Curry Powder

  • Sprinkle in the curry powder and stir for 30 seconds to allow the spices to bloom and release their full flavor.

Step 4: Thicken the Sauce

  • Add the flour to the skillet and stir for another 30 seconds to coat the onions and garlic in the flour. This will help thicken the sauce later.

Step 5: Add the Stock

  • Gradually pour in the chicken stock, stirring constantly to avoid any lumps. Once the stock is incorporated, bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Step 6: Incorporate the Vegetables

  • Stir in the sliced carrots, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Continue to simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes, allowing the carrots to soften.

  • Return the sausages to the skillet, along with the frozen peas.
Stir everything to combine.Let the mixture simmer for another 3 minutes oruntil the sauce thickens and the sausages are fully heated through

Step 8: Serve
