Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 1.1 lbs (500 g) of chopped chicken breast
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tspground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For thePasta:

  • 7 oz (200g) button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup (120 ml) chicken broth (low-sodium preferred)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup (40 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3.5 oz(100 g) baby spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 lb (500 g) pasta (e.g., fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • Salt and pepper to taste      

Instructions
 

  • Prepare theChicken:
    In a small bowl, combine the paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and dried thyme.
    Season the chicken breast with the spice mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated for maximum flavor.
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until it’s fully cooked and golden brown. After cooking, transfer the chicken from the skillet to a plate and set it aside to keep warm.
  • Cook the Pasta:
    In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add your chosen pasta andcook according to the package instructions (usually 8-10 minutes). Drain thepasta and set aside.
