Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Boba PearlsBring a pot of water to a boil. Use about 4 cups of water for every ½ cup of boba pearls. Add the boba pearls and stir gently to prevent sticking. Let them cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until they become soft and chewy. Once cooked, drain the boba and transfer it to a bowl of cold water for 1-2 minutes to stop the cooking process. Drain again and coat the boba with 1 tablespoon of honey or syrup for added sweetness. Set aside.
Step 2: Blend the SmoothieIn a blender, combine 1 cup of fresh or frozen fruit, 1 cup of milk (or dairy-free alternative), ½ cup of ice, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (if desired). Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk. If it’s too thin, add a few extra ice cubes.
Step 3: Assemble Your Boba Fruit SmoothieAdd the cooked boba pearls to the bottom of a tall glass. Pour the smoothie mixture over the boba. Stir gently and add a wide straw (essential for sipping up those chewy boba pearls!).
