    In a small saucepan over mediumheat, warm the milk until it’s hotbut not boiling. Stiroccasionally to prevent scorching. If using non-dairy milk, avoid overheatingto maintain its smooth texture.

    Add the dark chocolate to the hot milk and stir continuously until it melts completely, creating a smooth and velvetybase. Reduce the heat to low

    Ina separate small bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove any clumps. Add 2 tablespoons of hot water (notboiling, around 175°F or 80°C) and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk or afrother until a smooth, frothy paste forms.
  • Step 4: Combine Everything
    Slowly pour the matcha mixture into thechocolate milk while stirring gently. Add vanilla extract, cinnamon(if using), and sweetener if desired. Whisk until everything is well combined.
