1 teaspoon dried manzanilla (optional for extra flavor)
2 cups filtered water
1 slice lemon (optional, for a citrusy twist)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients
Measure out 2 teaspoons of dried chamomile flowers (or use 2 chamomile tea bags).
If you want a more traditional flavor, add 1 teaspoon of dried manzanilla flowers.
2. Boil the Water
In a small saucepan or kettle, bring 2 cups of filtered water to a gentle boil. Avoid over-boiling to preserve the delicate flavor of the tea.
3. Steep the Tea
Place the chamomile (and manzanilla, if using) into a teapot or heatproof mug.
Pourthe hot water over the tea and let it steep for 5–7minutes. For a stronger flavor, you can extend the steepingtime slightly
4. Sweeten (Optional)
Ifdesired, add 1 teaspoon of honey or agavesyrup to your tea. Stir gently until dissolved. This step isoptional but adds a touch of sweetness that pairs beautifully with the floralnotes
5. Add a CitrusTwist (Optional)
For an extra layer of flavor, add a slice of lemon to your tea. The subtle tang enhances the soothing properties of the chamomile and manzanilla.
6. Strain and Serve
Ifyou used loose flowers, strain the tea into your favorite mug using a fine-meshsieve.
Serve hot and enjoy the comforting warmth of your freshly brewed Chamomile Manzanilla Tea.
