Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ½ cup brewed tea(optional, for milk tea flavor)
  • 1 cup choppedfruit (mango, strawberry, or your favorite)
  • ¼ cup sweetenedcondensed milk or maple syrup
  • ½ cup cookedtapioca pearls (boba)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Prep the boba: 
    Cook your tapioca pearls according to package instructions. Once done, soak them in a little sugar syrup or honey while you prep the rest. This keeps them sweet and bouncy.
  • Blend the base: 
    In a blender, combine your fruit (or brewed tea, if going milk tea style), milk, ice, sweetener of choice, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until super smooth—think milkshake level.
  • Assemble the drink: 
    Scoop the sweetened bobainto the bottom of a tall glass. Pour the smoothie over the pearls
  • Sip and enjoy: 
    Grab a wide straw(because boba!) and dive in. Drink immediately before the ice melts and thepearls lose their texture
