Ingredients
  

  • Passion Fruit: The star ingredient,providing a tangy sweetness and tropical flavor. Use fresh pulp, or frozen/canned varieties if needed
  • Black Tea Leaves These give a rich base. For a lighter flavor, you can opt for green tea.
  • Mint Leaves Fresh mint adds a refreshing, herbal note that complements the passionfruit.
  • Fresh Lime Juice A splash balances the sweetness and adds brightness.
  • Ice Cubes Essentialfor keeping the tea cold and refreshing
  • Optional Ginger Ale For a fizzy,sparkling twist that makes the drink more festive.
  • Sugar (or Alternatives) Adjust thesweetness with sugar, honey, or substitutes like stevia or monk fruit.

Instructions
 

  • Boil Water: Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Steep Tea :Once boiling, remove from heat and add 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves (or 2 bags) and 5-6 mint leaves. Let steep for 2 minutes.
  • Strain Tea: Strain the tea into a pitcher, removing the tea leaves and mint. Let coolto room temperature.
  • Prepare Passion Fruit: Slice 4-5 passion fruits and scoop out the pulp. Strain if you want asmoother drink, or leave the seeds for texture.
  • CombineIngredients: Addthe passion fruit pulp to the cooled tea. Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of lime juiceand sugar to taste. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
  • Chill Tea: Refrigeratefor at least 1 hour.
  • Serve: Serve over ice with optional ginger ale. Garnish with mint leaves or limeslices.
