Boil Water: Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
Steep Tea :Once boiling, remove from heat and add 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves (or 2 bags) and 5-6 mint leaves. Let steep for 2 minutes.
Strain Tea: Strain the tea into a pitcher, removing the tea leaves and mint. Let coolto room temperature.
Prepare Passion Fruit: Slice 4-5 passion fruits and scoop out the pulp. Strain if you want asmoother drink, or leave the seeds for texture.
CombineIngredients: Addthe passion fruit pulp to the cooled tea. Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of lime juiceand sugar to taste. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
Chill Tea: Refrigeratefor at least 1 hour.
Serve: Serve over ice with optional ginger ale. Garnish with mint leaves or limeslices.
