Refreshing Watermelon Milkshake: A Nutritious Treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of fresh watermelon chunks (about 1/4 of a medium watermelon)
  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or sugar
  • Ice cubes

  • Prepare the Watermelon: Start by cutting the watermelon into chunks. If you haven’t already, remove the rind and seeds. You’ll need about 2 cups of fresh watermelon, which is roughly equivalent to a quarter of a medium-sized watermelon. Place the chunks into your blender.
  • Add the Ice Cream and Milk: Next, scoop 1 cup of vanilla ice cream into the blender. The ice cream will add a creamy and smooth texture that perfectly complements the fresh watermelon. Add 1/2 cup of milk to help blend everything together smoothly. If you like a thicker milkshake, you can reduce the milk slightly or add more ice cream.
  • Sweeten to Taste: Depending on the natural sweetness of your watermelon, you may want to add some honey or sugar. Start with 1 tablespoon of honey and adjust to taste. If you prefer a less sweet milkshake, you can skip the sweetener entirely.
  • Blend Everything Together: Secure the blender lid and blend the ingredients onhigh speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
