Smoked Buffalo Chicken Dip Everyone Will Love

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded smoked chicken(or rotisserie chicken)
  • 8 oz cream cheese,softened
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or sour cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddarcheese, shredded
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon garlicpowder
  • ½ teaspoon onionpowder
  • ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • Liquid smoke (optional, if no smoker)
  • Salt and pepper, totaste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    If you have a smoker, smoke boneless chicken breasts or thighs at 225°F forabout 1.5–2 hours until cooked through, then shred. For a shortcut, useshredded rotisserie chicken and add a few drops of liquid smoke.
  • Mix the Base: 
    Place the softened cream cheese and cottagecheese (or sour cream) in a large bowl and blend until smooth. Stir until smooth and well-blended.
  • Add the Flavor:
    Stir in shredded cheddar, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and apinch of salt and pepper. Mix until combined.
  • Fold in Chicken:
    Gently fold in the smoked chicken. If using, add blue cheese crumbles for anextra tangy bite.
  • Transfer to Baking Dish:
    Pour the mixture intoan oven-safe dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Bake:
    Preheat oven to 350°F.  Let it bake for 25 minutes,or until the mixture is hot and bubbly throughout. For extra texture, broil the top for 2–3 minutes to get a golden,bubbly crust
  • Garnish and Serve:
    Top with sliced green onions and a drizzle of buffalo sauce.
  • Serve hot
