Egg

: 1/4 cup (melted, for strudel topping)
Flour
: 1/4 cup (for strudel topping)
Cinnamon
: 1/2 tsp (for strudel topping)
Brown Sugar
: 1/4 cup (for strudel topping)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Pastry
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into squares or rectangles, depending on your preferred size.
Make the Cream Cheese Filling
Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and creamy
Prepare the Strawberries
Slice fresh strawberries. If you prefer a chunkier filling, keep the slices larger; otherwise, chop them finely.
Assemble the Pastry
Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each pastry square and top with sliced strawberries.
Prepare the Strudel Topping
In a bowl, combine melted butter, flour, cinnamon, and brown sugar until crumbly. Sprinkle the topping over the pastries.
Egg Wash
Whisk the egg and brush it over the pastries for a golden finish.
Bake the Pastry
