Combine Ingredients in the Crockpot

  • Inyour crockpot, add the frozen hash browns, chicken broth, and onion soup mix
  • Stirgently to combine and ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.

Add the Cream Cheese

  • About 30 minutes before serving, cut the cream cheese into cubes and add them to thecrockpot
  • Stir to melt the cream cheese, creating a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Use an immersion blender if you prefer a silky texture, or leave it as is for a chunkier soup.
